Last night I had a dream about Cars. All my favorite race cars were there including McQueen, King, ChickWick, and their friends. They were all having a race. Except ChickWick who was in the parking because it is always crashing into everyone else and so was not allowed to race.
I made a small TV screen and put it up so that I could see the race as well.
And there were two computers, one big and one small, which were showing which car is racing well and which car is not racing well. There were also some narrators who were also cars. They were telling which car is winning and which car is driving well and which car is not driving well. They were discussing everything so that the children could know.

Keshav the Politician
Papa and Mummy are always fighting about whether I am a Calcutta buy or a Delhi boy. Papa wants me to be a Calcutta boy while Mummy wants me to be a Delhi boy.
Both agree that I am a Mumbai boy for sure.
Couple of days ago, as we were having dinner, they started arguing about this again. They do not understand that it does not matter. So then, having come under a lot of pressure to take sides, I finally admitted that I am a Calcutta boy.
Papa was delighted and started laughing. Mummy however, was very sad and started sulking :(
To make Mummy happy, I went to her and told her in her ear that I am a Delhi boy also. She got very happy. I know how to make her happy. I know how to make both of them happy.
I told her not to tell Papa, but she could not resist and promptly told him and tried to gloat.
At which point they both looked at me and said - "Keshav - you politician!!!"

Girlfriends and Boyfriends
All the boys in my class are already my friends. I used to always sit with them in Playschool C. In the month of April, 2011, I went to Prep 1B. Even here, very soon all the boys became my friends. My mummy used to keep telling me to make new friends. So one day i decided to start making new friends. Since only girls were left, I had to start making friends among them only.
From that day on, I only sit with the girls in my class and become friends with them. So far i hae become friends with Suhani, Preesha, Anika, Sai Sampada, Saanika, Shruti, and so on. If one of them is absent then I sit with another of the girls with whom I want to be friends.
So now, all the boys in my class are my boyfriends and all the girls are my girlfriends.

Mummy thinks I am duhhhh....
Sometimes I think our parents do not give us enough credit. They think they are the only intelligent ones and we do not know anything.
Like earlier this evening, Mummy came out of the shower and asked me -"Keshav - can you see any red red here on my forehead?"
Keshav - "Arre... What is this red red you are talking about? I don't understand. Are you talking about the sindoor?"
Mummy - "Arre... How do you know about sindoor?"
Keshav - "I know it."
Mummy (astonished) - "Acchha.. Do you know why I wear this sindoor?"
Keshav - "I know everything... It's because Papa likes it."

Suhana Safar
A few days ago, a new girl joined our class - Suhani. She is very pretty and I like her a lot. I think she also likes me. We both stand together in the morning assembly, we sit together in class, etc.
I had mentioned about her to mummy and papa. True to their nature, they started asking me 1001 questions about her and what we did. They do not understand that we have so many things to do in school that there is very little time left.
They started making fun of me. In the morning if i would not drink my milk, they would tell me to drink fast or else someone else would stand with Suhani in the assembly.
To satisfy their curiousity i started telling them some story or the other.
The other day, it was Suhani's turn to be the star child. When the teacher asked us her qulities, I said that she s pretty. Ved also said she is pretty (grrrrr....). Teacher said she colours nicely. And so on.
When I told this to mummy-papa, they started asking me when I was going to become the star child. How do I make them understand that the teacher decides who becomes star child and when and that my turn has not yet come.
I did not want to disappoint them. So the next day i told them that I became the star child. As for my qualities - I made pretty into handsome, colours well, smiles always, and so on. For once mummy even asked me - "Keshav - are you sure? Did you really become the star child or are you telling us stories?"
Of course I was telling them stories. But I did not want to disappoint them so I insisted that I had become the star child. Papa, always the suspicious one, even told her to check with the teacher in the Open House.
Dutifully, Mummy asked the teacher about Suhani and me in the Open House. Ufff... If only she had not listened to Papa. The teacher promptly told her that Keshav has not yet been made star child as his turn had not yet come. She also told mummy that I mentioned to her about how Suhani had come to my house and we had a great time together. She also told Mummy that if Suhani is thirsty, Keshav wants to drink water. If she has to go to the washroom, Keshav has to go also. Now who is telling stories!!!!!
And mummy.. She promptly called up Papa and told him. Now Papa will really trouble me anne he gets home. I have had it.
Only saving grace is.. Tomorrow morning - Suhana safar aur ye mausam hasin...
