The Aeroplane Song

Aeroplane aeroplane flying up in the sky,
Please take me wherever you are going in the sky.

My first ambition

I want to be a Pilot. And I want to fly BIGGGG aeroplanes.

It started like this. Mummy was showing me some flash cards of various people like doctor, carpenter, pilot and so on. She asked me what I wanted to be. And I promptly said - I want to be a Pilot. She asked me so many other things, but I kept on telling her that I want to be a Pilot.

I love aeroplanes. I also love cars. But I just love aeroplanes. My Papa keeps going in big aeroplanes very often. From my house also I can see aeroplanes that take off from the airport and they go high in the sky. Everytime I see one, I will shout out "Aeroplane.." and keep watching it till it disappears from sight.

I have also travelled in an aeroplane many times. My Mummy and Papa have taken me. When I sit inside the aeroplane and look outside, I see so many big aeroplanes parked at the airport. And inside the aeroplane, I meet these nice, pretty aunties who smile at me and give me toys and chocolates!!

Anyways, coming back to my ambition - I want to be a Pilot. I will get into the car from home and drive to the airport. I will then get into the aeroplane and fly it. Then I will land it in Mumbai. I will then get back into the car and drive back home. Right now, I will fly small aeroplanes as I am small. When I become big, I will fly BIG aeroplanes.



PS: Papa says this is my first ambition as I will keep changing my ambition every now and then. Lets see..

Nikhil Mohta is my Papa

This happened a few days ago. As usual, Mummy was trying to pull a fast one on me. However, not only did I catch her, but I also ensured that all clarifications were made to prevent such attempts in the future.

Mummy was trying to put me to sleep in the afternoon, post my lunch. Its usually Mummy who does that in the afternoons. However, on that particular day I was feeling like Papa should put me to sleep. And I told Mummy that. Here’s how the conversation went –

Keshav – “Mujhe Papa chahiye.. I want my Papa”

Mummy – “Mujhe bhi Papa chahiye.. Even I want Papa.”

Keshav, sensing some scope for confusion – “Mujhe Nikhil Mohta Papa chahiye.. I want Nikhil Mohta Papa.”

Mummy – “Mujhe bhi Nikhil Mohta Papa chahiye.. Even I want Nikhil Mohta Papa.”

At this point I realized that this was going too far and the record had to be put straight.

Keshav – “Nikhil Mohta Papa is my Papa.. aapke Papa Nanu Papa hain. Nanu Papa Nani ke ghar mein rehte hain.. Delhi mein.. OK??"

At this point Mummy realized that I wasn't going to let go of my Papa and hence kept quiet.

In the evening when my Papa came home, not only did I tell him what happened, I also clarified with him – “Aapke Papa Baba Papa hain.. Mummy ke Papa Nanu Papa hain.. aur mere Papa Nikhil Mohta Papa hain.”

Keshav is going to Goa

Mummy - "Where are you going tommorrow, Keshav?"


Keshav - "Keshav is going to Goa."

Mummy - "Yes. And how are we going?"

Keshav - "We are going by aeroplane."

Mummy - "And who is going with you?"

Keshav - "Mummy.. (And seeing Papa's sad face).. And Papa."

Mummy - "And who else?"

Keshav - "Nano and Mika?." These are two of my friends who go with me to OGC and come home to play with me.

Mummy - "No."
 
Keshav - "Arushi?? YES... And Mahesh Uncle and Ramya Aunty."
 
Mummy - "And what will you do in Goa?"
 
Keshav - "I will hold Arushi's hand and walk on beach."

Keshav tells about Durga Puja

Do you know that this week is Durga Puja? It is a big festival in Calcutta, the city where my Papa grew up.

Durga Ma killed Mahishasur. Mahishasur was a very bad man who used to trouble people. He used to beat them and trouble them. Do the people then prayed to Durga Ma. Durga Ma came and killed Mahishasur. She killed him with a trishul. She came sitting on a Lion.

Everyone gets very upset with me if I hit or beat up anyone. But I dont think we should get upset with Durga Ma as she beat up Mahishasur who was a very bad man.

I am not afraid of Durga Ma's Lion. The Lion does like this - "Roarrrrr...."
